Effective: August 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Carriage LLC, doing business through the ProLogELD service ("ProLogELD," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when drivers, motor carriers, fleet administrators, and other authorized users use the ProLogELD mobile application, website, ELD hardware integrations, fleet dashboard, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
Depending on how the Services are used, we may collect:
Account and identity information. Name, username, email address, telephone number, driver or employee identifiers, carrier/company information, and other information needed to create and administer an account.
Driver and compliance information. Duty status, Records of Duty Status (RODS), Hours of Service (HOS) information, log certifications, annotations, log edits, co-driver information, shipping/trip information, DVIR information, malfunction and diagnostic records, and other records entered or generated through ELD workflows.
Vehicle and ELD information. Vehicle identifiers, ELD/device identifiers, engine power status, vehicle motion, odometer and engine-hour information, speed or other vehicle/engine data when supported, connection status, diagnostic information, and information transmitted by supported ELD hardware.
Location information. Precise or approximate vehicle/device location may be collected when necessary for ELD records, fleet functionality, trip records, or other features of the Services. Location collection may occur while the app is in use and, where enabled and necessary for ELD functionality, while it is operating in the background.
Documents and content. Information and files users choose to submit, such as DVIR information, shipping documents, bills of lading, proof of delivery, fuel or scale receipts, attachments, comments, and support communications.
Technical information. App version, device and operating-system information, IP address, timestamps, connectivity and synchronization information, crash/error information, and security or diagnostic logs reasonably necessary to operate and protect the Services.
We use information to provide and operate the Services; create and maintain ELD and HOS records; synchronize driver, vehicle, and carrier information; provide fleet-management and roadside-inspection workflows; enable ELD output-file and authorized data-transfer functions; provide DVIR and related features; troubleshoot hardware, Bluetooth, connectivity, synchronization, malfunction, and diagnostic issues; authenticate users; secure accounts and systems; provide customer support; improve reliability and functionality; and comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
We may make information available to the motor carrier or fleet account that manages a driver's ProLogELD account and to authorized administrators of that account. Information may also be transmitted when an authorized user initiates or uses an ELD data-transfer, roadside-inspection, or other compliance workflow.
We may use service providers that support hosting, infrastructure, communications, security, diagnostics, or other functions necessary to operate the Services. Such providers may process information on our behalf subject to applicable contractual and legal protections. We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the Services, or the rights and safety of others.
ProLogELD does not sell personal information for money. We do not use ELD/HOS or precise location data for third-party behavioral advertising.
ProLogELD is designed for commercial transportation operations. In many cases, a motor carrier or fleet customer determines which drivers are authorized to use an account and has access to records associated with its drivers and vehicles. Drivers should contact their carrier regarding carrier-controlled employment or operational records. ProLogELD may retain records where retention is necessary for applicable ELD/HOS requirements, contractual obligations, security, dispute resolution, or other legal obligations.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services and satisfy applicable legal, regulatory, recordkeeping, security, and contractual requirements. Different categories of information may have different retention periods.
Users may request deletion of their ProLogELD account or personal information by emailing support@prologeld.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request." We will verify the request as appropriate. Some information may need to be retained where deletion would conflict with applicable transportation recordkeeping requirements, legal obligations, fraud/security prevention, dispute resolution, or records that a motor carrier is legally required to maintain. Where a carrier controls the account, we may coordinate the request with the carrier as appropriate.
Some ProLogELD features require device permissions such as location, Bluetooth, notifications, camera, or file/photo access. Permissions should be requested only when needed for the associated functionality. Device permissions can generally be managed through the device operating-system settings, although disabling a permission that is essential to a feature may prevent that feature from operating correctly.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No electronic system or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The Services are intended for commercial drivers, motor carriers, fleet personnel, and other business users and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Services.
The current ProLogELD application and ELD service are intended for users and commercial operations in the United States. Information may be processed and stored in the United States or in other locations used by our service providers, subject to applicable requirements.
We may update this Privacy Policy as our Services, data practices, or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date.
